Dale Tanis, a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico from 1969, has showcased his artworks in several group exhibitions across the United States. These include exhibits at the Springfield Art Museum in Springfield, MO; Light Tight Gallery in Kalamazoo, MI; Gallery One in Boston, MA; Costal Arts Museum in Half Moon Bay, CA; Regis College in Weston, MA; Project Center For The Arts in Cambridge, MA; and Alameda Museum in Alameda, CA. Mr. Tanis' artwork, "In the Meadow," features two Adirondack chairs that evoke a sense of romance and nostalgia. These chairs have seen life's joys and sorrows, from childhood innocence to the bliss of first love, to the acceptance of a proposal, to the birth of a child, to the company of grandchildren. The empty chairs remain as a testament to the love that two people shared, and a reminder to cherish the moments we have with our loved ones.
